Do you happen to have an idea on how to fix that? Thanks a lot for that workaround.Lag is almost completely gone now.however every sound in synthesia is distorted. The most easy to follow solution (without fear of any viruses in the download, too) I have ever found in a thread. Now I can finally use Synthesia the way it supposed to!

The biggest issue will be applications fighting for your sound card, close everything, browsers, iTunes, etc, otherwise apps will block ASIO4ALL from getting direct hardware access. If you really want low-latency, just run Pianoteq itself and take MIDI input in directly when you're ready to play solo, it will have a much better feel to it. There is some delay added by Synthesia as well.
